KIDNAPPER APPREHENDED RED HANDED BY PCR MOBILE PATROL VAN STAFF Police Control Room 13.11.2019 Press Release Ø KIDNAPPER APPREHENDED RED HANDED BY PCR MOBILE PATROL VAN STAFF. Ø VICTIM RESCUED SAFELY Ø ONE OF THE ACCUSED INVOLVED IN 6 CASES OF ROBBERY, SNATCHING & ARMS ACT ETC. In a swift, professional and prompt action, the PCRMobile Patrol Van staff rescued a kidnapped person and apprehended one of thecriminal on 13.11.19 in the area of Rohini, Delhi. In the intervening nightof 12/13.11.19 at about 01:08 AM, the PCR Mobile Patrolling Van staff comprising of HC Pawan and Ct. (Dvr.) Mukesh received a PCR callregarding kidnapping of a person. The MPV staff immediately swung in to actionand rushed to the spot. The PCR MPVstaff met the caller, who stated that on 12.11.19 at about 08:30 PM his brotheraged 22 yrs. had gone to market on hisApachee motor cycle . Later , they received a call from the accused persons demanding Rs.5000/- for the release of his brother .The accused directed them to come at Sector 20, Rohini with the ransom money. Assessing the situation the MPV staff alongwith the complainantimmediately started searching for the victim and accused persons. Whenthey reached near sector 20, Rohini, they saw the victim’sbike in the vicinity of the area where the accused had called the complainant.The MPV staff immediately started looking for the victim in the nearby areasand managed to trace the victim in the custody of accused persons in a secludedvacant plot. On seeing the police, the accused persons tried to escape. Howeverdisplaying professionalism and alertness the MPV staff apprehended one accused who wasidentified as Kasim r/ o Hari Enclave, Kirari, Delhi , while another accusedmanaged to escape by jumping over thewall of the vacant plot. The victim was found injured having multiplestab wounds and blunt injuries. He informed that accused persons Kasim andMohit were known to him and they called him in sector 20, Rohini, later they broughthim near the deserted plot in sector 20, Rohini. The accused persons assaultedhim and also hit with brick on his face. They also stabbed him and robbed himof cash about Rs. 4000/- as well as his mobile phone. The accused persons wanted moremoney and made ransom calls from his phone to his family members. The victimhas been admitted in Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, Sultanpuri, Delhi. The apprehendedaccused Kasim and bike of the victim has been handed over to the local policeof PS Aman Vihar for further legal action. A case vide FIR No. 600/19 U/S 365/364-A/394/397/34IPC has been registered at PS Aman Vihar. Theaccomplice of apprehended criminal, identified as Mohit has been found involvedin 06 cases of Robbery, Snatching & Arms Act. Etc. Subsequently he has alsobeen arrested by local police. PCRstaff has displayed alertness, keen sense of observation and professionalism byapprehending a kidnapper and also rescued the victim from theircaptivity.
